@GaryMarcus You can make a feature lenght 2hr movie from the best AI video models today if you are autistic and maniacal and obscenely wealthy enough to redo 100 times each then stick together 5 second AI generated shots. Of course the goal is to do this in one prompt

It hasn't crrated these things because no one yet focusing theeese tools on these uses. There is not yet a $300m book publisher putting $5m marketing campaigns on AI generated books neither is there a Universal level music studio spending $20m to promote an AI artiste

Generative AI hasn’t created memorable songs, books, and movies, despite insanely large amount of input. Why not?

I see three reasons:

1. Everything Generative AI does is derivative and tends to be a kind of average.

2. Generative AI it lacks a deep conceptual
