I had to be there to support my sister as she spoke on the introduction of her resolution. 77 years of this ongoing catastrophe, an ethnic cleansing. There must be an immediate end and there must be repair.

My sity's only crime in the eyes of the Israeli government is that she was born Palestinian. Today, to honor her and Palestinians all over the world, I introduced a resolution to recognize 77 years of the ongoing Nakba. It continues to this day with the genocide in Gaza.
