Sonya Massey called the police to protect her and they shot her in the head. She deserved to be safe in her own home. Her life mattered.
The senseless killing of Black people at the hands of police must end. We need to legislate to protect Black lives.

We wonder why our babies are starving in America? Why we have a corrupt healthcare system? Why we lack clean food, air and water?
Look at our Congress.
Look at them shower a man who has starved Gaza, bombed hospitals, and murdered tens of thousands of people.

The Israeli apartheid regime is using starvation as a weapon of war, a war crime.
They will not erase us. Palestinians exist and we deserve to live. Our presence today will be a reminder that we aren't going anywhere.

The apartheid government of Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians. Palestinians will not be erased. Solidarity with all those outside of these walls in the streets protesting and exercising their right to dissent.

Joining me in the chamber today is Hani Almadhoun, who has lost over 150 members of his extended family in Netanyahu’s genocide. After witnessing his sister forced to eat animal feed, he and his family were determined to start a soup kitchen to feed their starving neighbors.
