@YouTubePaul03 i have always said we need to use neural networks in combination with other things (such as symbolic tools for search that AlphaEvolve uses), and yes I saw and liked AlphaEvolve and said so to the media.

@GaryMarcus Are you aware that LLMs in combination with automated evaluators just found a more efficient way to multiply 4x4 matrices, a relevant real-world problem with no progress at all for 56 years. If you haven't seen it, check out Google's AlphaEvolve.
