@GaryMarcus I've been trying to find it's nuanced specialty. It literally is the most logical and aligns with the proclamation of truth-seeking. I didn't get it at first but this will likely be the AI we actually wanted.

in fairness, though, grok seems to be more solid on basic arithmetic than some other models.

When I offered @elonmusk a million dollar bet that AI wouldn’t be smarter than the smartest human by the end of 2025 I was confident I would win the bet.

I figured I could make a list with dozens, maybe hundreds, of things ordinary people could do that eluded many or most

This is the new Claude 4 Sonnet with extended thinking mode on.

Surprising that it doesn't have a better mental model of basic arithmetic at this point in the game — I'm somewhat confused.
