@cgrodriguezr @GaryMarcus why "vague"? if a human can do something cognitively, then AGI means AI can do the same (or better). Listing every possible task would be endless, of course. But as long as there are things humans can do - write a great novel, plan creatively, earn money - that AI still struggles

An operational definition should answer questions like which cognitive tasks? what are we understanding by "match or "surpass"? How are we understanding human capability? Whose capacities?
