- reformulating the problem as *taking* the actions as a person would vs *writing the actions out* also oneshots it (albeit I didn’t interrogate the upper end, I only tested into the start of the 100% failure regime.)

this paper sucks аѕѕ and last night I got into a little debate with gary marcus about whether this paper does in fact suck. the top right graph shows the complexity performance relationship shown in the paper.

@GaryMarcus @rao2z Also I flat out don’t believe that a typical “bright teenager” can write out the correct sequence of 255 moves for the 8 disk tower of Hanoi problem from their head without transcription errors. I don’t believe the paper even claims this fwiw.
