@marwilliamson @FreeSpeechGirl Remember 2020 when Trump left it to blue governors and mayors to police their state and billions of dollars of damage was done and lives lost? You think we are too stupid to remember 2020. You lost the narrative and popularity. We don’t want a 2020 repeat.

@FreeSpeechGirl The vast majority of these protests are NOT violent, the Mayors and Governor of California can handle them, and Trump inserting himself this way will only cause more chaos. People living in that area do NOT want the marines in their streets.

@marwilliamson so you think violent protests should be able to continue? Someone is going to die if it keeps going. Imagine the fear of people living in that area from all the violence.

I feel the energy shifting. No matter what our politics, most Americans know bringing the military out to control these protests is an overreach at best and betrayal of our Constitution at worst.
