@mgubrud @GaryMarcus However, as any AI's interface to the real world is usually an RJ-45 Ethernet jack, its capacity for action is limited to the information that can send/receive over it.

@GaryMarcus The "strong takeoff theory" of ASI is based on recursive self-improvement once AGI is able to fully replace humans in its own reproduction and improvement.

That hasn't happened yet. AI is contributing to AI but that is still only a minor boost.
