Even the usually optimistic @Scobleizer agrees – humanoid robots aren’t close to being safe in our homes.

(Toy-sized humanoids will come much sooner but do little.)

I am hearing same from robotics pioneers, that humanoids aren’t close to being ready.

Most estimate that a generalizable all-AI humanoid robot safe for letting into our homes is about seven years away. And that was a Chinese company, and researchers at Stanford, among others.
