@marwilliamson @SageEconomics What are the principles and goals of each party? My understanding of the republicans is that they were founded in religion principles, where the democrats are founded on social advancements. Both share the same goals for different reasons. Republicans tend to donate more.

@LucClarinetist No. Withholding food from the hungry, help from the poor, welcome to the stranger, justice for the persecuted, and repair for the planet is anything but religious. True religion is about love and compassion and justice.
