@GaryMarcus I guess it depends on the age of the person. 😂 If they were born after 2000, then it probably is one of the most consequential things that's happened.

I genuinely can’t believe that some people think that LLMs are more consequential than cell phones, smart phones, laptops, tablets, email, text messaging, the internet, word processors, etc.

I could easily go a week without an LLM. Or a year. Or forever.

@GaryMarcus I agree that AGI is unlikely to come from the current LLM architecture, but LLMs are the most consequential invention of my lifetime. It has made me smarter and more efficient in 100 different ways. Far more pros than cons.
