@marwilliamson I agree, but there’s a disconnect here between the privileged and the rest of us. People are in real pain and he exasperated it. Leaders like yourself are rightfully calling for grace and mercy but that pain also needs to be addressed. Otherwise, we’re not healing. Thank you.

@dbonini I don't see him as a martyr. But I see him as an American who spoke his mind and had a right to. In a free society we don't shut people up because they "trigger" someone. Free speech means nothing otherwise. When anyone makes a bigoted, racist, antisemitic, misogynistic,

@marwilliamson Which is that Charlie Kirk said a lot of hurtful things to people who already feel like they’re living in the margins further triggering their wounds. You’ve painted him as a martyr. I don’t believe in an eye for an eye either, but I also believe you reap what you sow.

@marwilliamson 1) This is spiritual bypassing pure and simple. I hear a lot of this from you. I agree we need love but first we need to go into the pain, and Charlie preached hate ardently. He was disillusioned just like his murderer. You want to start healing hearts? Speak to that.
