@GaryMarcus @annapanart I agree, but you mock pretty much every new AI product. And you understand clearly that compute is a necessity anyway, cuz even when researchers find new optimizations, the more we can automate, the better.

Why tear each other down,
when we could lift each other up and rise as one species?

Sora 2 is pretty clear evidence that ungodly amounts of compute still doesn’t yield AGI.
