Plus NFL teams that draft well see immediate impacts. Baseball draft picks — with exceptions like Skenes — take time to develop in the minors. it’s just harder to use the draft to pay immediate dividends.

@RonDeSantis @coleman_owenby A lot of the strength is parity as every year your team has the potential to gel and make a run like the Patriots this year. Terrible last year/potential this year. You can tell who's in the hunt when the season begins. Money is the driver so parity is lacking.
