Let's be clear. The DSCC leaked this to try to destroy Platner the day their hand-picked candidate entered the race.

I respect Platner's journey & the man he is today. I reject the politics of personal destruction.

I stand by my endorsement. I won't cower to the establishment.

Whether you like Platner or not he is dead right about the remedy for alienation and anger being community and purpose.

If being angry as a young man disqualifies you from running for office later as a Democrat, Dems will have basically no men running
