Bonds was the best player in the league when he weighed 190 lbs. When he became the Incredible Hulk late in his career he put up video game numbers, but had he never bulked up he was still an all-time great.

@RonDeSantis I don’t know about that. I would swap Clemente for Bonds. Bonds would be in this list except for his steroid use. Ohtani doesn’t belong either, he’s only been in the league a few years. You could add Jeter, Ichiro, Ripken, and Johnny Bench to the discussion before Bonds/Ohtani.
