I want to put forward a CRAZY fear:

We’re trying to figure out how to go back to doing science *without* creating pesky fiercely independent secure American Scientists.

No more Feynmans. No more Watsons.

Just business leaders, AI, military contractors, engineers, visa holders.

I would love to hear what @EricRWeinstein ‘s opinion on Genesis is.

Seems like it will be super easy to classify new physics and discoveries with a government-run AI doing all the work. This seems to be a path towards exacerbating the over-classification and human potential
