@petersavodnik Everything I believe is built on the foundation that Jesus Christ really died and rose from the grave, so it would be dishonest for me to say I was looking at anything under the sun from a different lens

I am asking this in good faith: What does it mean to say that one's politics are Christian? I know any number of thoughtful Christians. Their politics run the gamut, and I'm not sure that any of them would say they derive in any strict sense from Scripture or religious belief.

@doll_elizabeth This is so weird. I'm not a Republican and have never, ever claimed to be. I'm a conservative. My politics are 1) Christian and 2) skeptical of concentrated power (because I'm Christian and believe in original sin). Hate big govt (zoning!) and hate big business (dollar store!)
