Life has many chapters. Met a man named Dawson tonight who used to be an English professor at Kent State, now he’s a carpenter who loves his work. Reminds me of the open-minded spirit our Founding Fathers used to have.

The best way to protect Ohioans against rising costs is to bring more high-paying jobs to our state. Great visit to the Northeast Ohio Carpenters joint training center in Richfield & the Construction Employers Association HQ in greater Cleveland tonight.

Last year the paper mill in Chillicothe was shut down. Now it’s up and running again to manufacture nitrile gloves for the economy of the future. We’re going to bring high-paying jobs to Ohio & put more money in the pockets of workers.

Increasing take-home pay is a key part of how we make a good life more affordable. It isn’t too complicated.
