@Tyler_A_Harper I was never a fan. To me it seems like he desperately tries to create a web of deep insights between random unrelated things and he forgets that he's the one that spins the web and he's the one that imbues it with meaning...it's like he's playing tricks on himself...

Jordan Peterson invented a style of discourse that takes a reasonable premise (“look people in the eye,” “stand up straight”) then justifies that premise by recourse to a deeply insane causal mechanism (because lobsters) and gradually his schtick became less advice, more lobsters

When Peterson got popular a few years ago I thought most of what he was saying was common sense psychology, I don't know when the switch flipped and he went super culture warrior
