@GaryMarcus I'm still puzzled. Let's say all the technological hurdles are overcome and we get this "amazing AI".

How will it be able to produce "truths" when the data we have of the world is replete with inconsistencies and unknowables, fictions, myths, and misunderstandings?

The only plausible approach to trustworthy AI I know:
• Neurosymbolic hybrid AI
• Large-scale knowledge, with an innate core
• Better reasoning
• Explicit, dynamically updatable cognitive models
