@GaryMarcus I agree with this. However, it can be built on top of LLMs or in conjunction, as a hybrid system. For instance, they are already trained for large-scale knowledge. In fact this would be more like the brain, which is a hybrid system composed of different modules.

The only plausible approach to trustworthy AI I know:
• Neurosymbolic hybrid AI
• Large-scale knowledge, with an innate core
• Better reasoning
• Explicit, dynamically updatable cognitive models
