@GaryMarcus @gradybooch I can't even picture a Microsoft computer, I thought they just did windows for IBM and the like. And before I ever used any of those, I had used the Radio Shack TRS-80, the Kaypro, and my family bought the original Macintosh (amazingly, in today's dollars, it cost over $7K)

Say what? What a strange and inaccurate rewriting of history.

Microsoft didn’t invent the Personal Computer, not at all. Altair, Apple, Heathkits, so many early players.
