@GaryMarcus @benzion_b @elonmusk @sama Some people I know went to dinner with Bill Gates in mid-2023. He apparently was still very much drinking the Kool Aid then. He declared during the dinner that "ChatGPT 6 will be smarter than me".

@GaryMarcus @benzion_b @elonmusk @sama The unnamed source claims Gates was demoed an early version of ChatGPT-4 that passed the AP Biology exam. Gates then told MS to invest heavily in OpenAI. Crazy when you think about that for a second. Pull off a parlour trick to the right man and BOOM you're flush.

imo they’re sitting on a way more powerful model already
