@marwilliamson @JDVance I too disagree with the suggestions childless have no direct stake in the future. But I'd suggest you listen to his response. It is way more nuanced.

@marwilliamson @JDVance I'd suggest you listen to his response. Then you'd know your personal story is nothing he seeks to disrespect or highlight as wrong. And I say that as a voter leaning towards Harris. But if the left keeps gaslighting the right, I may not turn up to vote at all.

Regarding @JDVance and his comments questioning whether childless people are fit to lead the country…

I was lucky enough to become a mother. My daughter was fortunate enough to have godparents - all of whom were then childless themselves - whose maternal and paternal instincts…
