@GaryMarcus @dileeplearning @AlexTensor If you read Altman's recent "deep learning worked," he thinks AI doesn't need clever ideas—and so clever AI developers—but just more and more processing power and data. If that's your idea, you're not going to keep engineers who think their talent is crucial to future success.

@dileeplearning @AlexTensor That’s one theory. Another is that people have left for two reasons: they doubt Sam’s commitment to safety, and they don’t know how to deliver what he’s promised.

@GaryMarcus @AlexTensor Gary, those folks have been there for long time. Startups are chaos engines and churn is normal. They are still shipping innovative things and executing fast. The rest is all side show.
