@GaryMarcus @GaryMarcus Distinguishing between intelligence and its components is like saying 'walking isn't movement because legs and muscles ARE aspects of movement.' Sometimes breaking down complex systems helps us understand them better 😏 Though I do agree the line gets pretty blurry.

This does not make sense, because “memory, real-time learning, context, and understanding of … environment” ARE aspects of intelligence.

If you have used LLMs extensively, you know they are WAY MORE INTELLIGENT than mere mortals.

The bottleneck is not intelligence.

The bottlenecks are memory, real-time learning, context, and understanding of their environment.
