@soumilrathi @Grady_Booch there will still be scarce things like beachfront property and the rich are not going to share. even if food and even cars become dirt cheap. they will not willingly dismantle capitalism or give up power. that’s a fantasy, or just not thought through at all.

But what would be the value (or point) of money when AI can do everything better than humans can.

AGI might – or might not — arrive by 2045. (@Grady_Booch thinks it won’t happen this century.)

But the thought that the wealthy will give up their private islands and political power that they have gained with their money is just … absurd.
