@GaryMarcus o3 does not generate images. That’s 4o native image generation. But I agree with you and I don’t think o3 is AGI. This just isn’t a good example to show that, both because they are separate systems, and because image generation can’t really be compared with humans. (1/2)

@thomasrodskog Tyler Cowen literally said that o3, which generates images, is AGI.

I am evaluating his hypothesis, and the system clearly operates as if it had a neurological deficit, regularly producing images that don’t correspond with its words and failing to acknowledge this.
