@flowersslop yeah but in this case all the people who actually understand the cognitive prerequisites of agi and don’t have massive financial conflicts of interest are the ones who actually know what is going on.

It's 1945. People in Los Alamos believe in short timelines for the nuclear bomb but the more I travel to other countries the less sense it makes because most people dont really believe in it, just the delulus working on it

100%. If you are not in SF the rapid AGI timelines just don’t make sense.
