And he meant it on an individual level, not a government level. Feed and clothe as many as you personally can, Marianne.

@daledwayer So did I get it wrong? God didn’t say be good to the stranger, do justice, feed the hungry, heal the sick, and take care of the poor? Could’ve sworn I read that somewhere.

No. This is beneath you, Tulsi. I’ll tell you what makes God weep: immigrants drowning in the Rio Grande, being ripped from their loved ones or sent to concentration camps; hungry people being unfed; medicine withheld from the sick; children being starved. God is not mocked.
