Governments are run by people, and the goal should be what Lincoln said: that we be guided by the “angels of our better nature.”

@3uca1yptus_ @daledwayer I think you need to read it again. His entire riff on the “tax collector” was about the Roman government! He was a Jew living under Roman occupation and oppression.
