@GaryMarcus Gen AI feels like it's being constantly shoehorned into anything and everything, foisted upon us wherever possible. Regardless of whether something is a good implementation, makes sense, or brings any actual improvements.

@GaryMarcus It really feels like at the core, the actual mission and purpose of these gen AI undertakings is as a means to try to develop some sort of actual true strong AI. With it in a place now where they're kind of scrambling to fund/monetize what they've currently got.

👉 The bubble has begun to deflate.

👉 The jockeying for bailouts has begun.

👉 The government has begun to capitulate.

👉 GenAI was never reliable enough to make economic sense.

👉 All that talk about AGI 2027 was bullshit.

👉 Now the taxpayers are going to be left to clean
