Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor trans lives lost to violence and hatred.

As some continue to attack the transgender community for political gain, I’m proud to cosponsor a resolution Commemorating Transgender Day of Remembrance, recognizing their humanity.

Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, 45 million people have coverage, preexisting conditions aren't a barrier, and families have peace of mind.
