@GaryMarcus Do you think Q* solves the issues you mentioned but falls under a new paradigm so won’t be considered for the reward? Or are you saying that no approach today qualifies as paradigmatically innovative?

If anyone wants to put up $1B, I am happy to lead the effort.

My impression though is that no VC is bold enough to give serious funding to anything that isn’t firmly in the current paradigm, despite increasing signs of trouble.

@GaryMarcus I'm skeptical that this is true - but if it is, why wouldn't you get a billion dollars or so in seed funding and start a company that can make an actually successful, working, and trustable AI?
