@MonicaMariacr83 @GaryMarcus @Grady_Booch They have no clue what intelligence is, let alone how the brain works. It is all grandiose empty talk with no real scientific substance. They hate neuroscientists because they know we do not buy their hallucinations and pyramid schemes to support business plans that have no ROI!

@MiguelNicolelis @GaryMarcus @Grady_Booch Agree. Even today, the human brain is not well understood and they plan to replicate it. I don't see it as feasible, at least in terms of how they sell.

@GaryMarcus @Grady_Booch From neuroscientist to neuroscientist, this “wait for AGI” is sounding more and more like the wait for the Messiah. And both will never happen. The brain is not digital - it works in analog - and will never be replaced by a Turing machine, nor a LLM, nor neuro-AI, whatever it is!

AGI might – or might not — arrive by 2045. (@Grady_Booch thinks it won’t happen this century.)

But the thought that the wealthy will give up their private islands and political power that they have gained with their money is just … absurd.
